Ask, and ask for the answer in writing. A porcelain veneer removes roughly 3% to 30% of the tooth. A crown removes 63% to 72%. Much of what is marketed abroad as veneers is in fact zirconia crowns, and the difference is permanent. We put the answer on your written plan, tooth by tooth, before anything is prepared.

That is the wrong question, and it is why so many people choose badly. Turkey trains dentists to a five-year university standard and regulates international patient care through a Ministry of Health authorisation scheme with a public register. The variable is the clinic, not the country. The British Dental Journal concluded in 2025 that there is no objective evidence that most patients who travel for treatment have poor outcomes. Check the register, check who is treating you, and check what is being removed from your teeth.

For crowns, veneers or whitening, usually one trip of about five to seven days. For implants, two trips: the implant is placed on the first, and the tooth it carries is fitted on the second, three to four months later, once the implant has fused with the bone. Anyone offering you finished implants in a single week is loading a root that has not yet integrated.

Published guidance is a minimum of 72 hours after an implant placement and about two weeks after a sinus lift. Cabin pressure matters. We plan the treatment around your flights, and if the dates conflict we move the treatment rather than shorten the healing.

You contact the dentist who treated you, directly, and send photographs. Most issues after prosthetic work are adjustments rather than failures, and many can be handled by a local dentist with our records and instructions. If something needs to be remade here, we tell you honestly whether it does. Follow-up is written into your plan before you travel, with who to contact and how.

Because a price without an examination is a guess, and because Turkish regulation restricts how treatment costs may be published. What we do instead is send you an individual written plan after we have seen your case: what is proposed, tooth by tooth, what it involves, and what it costs. You are under no obligation at any point.

Yes, and we would encourage it. Send us the plan and any X-rays or photographs. We will tell you what we would do the same and what we would do differently, and if we think you have been offered more work than you need we will say so. It is the quickest way to judge any clinic, including ours.

Published ten-year survival for dental implants is about 96%. That is survival, not perfection: roughly one implant patient in five develops peri-implantitis, an inflammation around the implant, at some point. Crowns and veneers depend heavily on your gums, your bite and your cleaning. Nobody can honestly guarantee a lifetime, and a clinic that does is telling you something it cannot know.

Antalya airport is about 25 minutes from the practice, against an hour or more across Istanbul, which matters when you are making the trip twice and recovering in between. The city is also built for visitors, so the non-clinical half of the trip looks after itself. Our practice is in Konyaaltı, on the western side, rather than in the clinic cluster in Lara.

Flights are yours to book. Everything else that touches the treatment is written into your plan before you travel: transfers, appointments, what is done at each one, and the aftercare. If a cost is not on that plan, it is not something we will ask you for later.
